Wheel Colours

Me being me i've been looking at different wheel colour choices as want something not done to death.

 

Choices

SILVER

 

GOLD

 

GREY

RED

 

WHITE

 

BLACK

 

BLACK

 

Bear in mind this is not a SHOW car it will be driven HARD alot.

i was thinking of suggesting solid red (ho ho ho!) as i was scrolling down - but see that you'd already thought of that

 

don't fit solid reds ones btw ...

 

i'd go with silver myself, but that's deffo been 'done to death'!!

Please don't go for the red ones!

 

I quite like the look of the black with red stripe though. I'd never have thought of that combination myself, but it actually goes rather well with the rest of the car IMO.

Lol at the black with red stripe - we sprayed up my old 405 Mi wheels like that (the old 14" style ones, did most black and the stood out edges red).

 

Once it was on the car it looked horrible even though we used the same black as the car and Peugeot cherry red for the rim bits.

 

 

Those 205 rims look a lot better though!!! Reckon its a lot to do with the car having red trim bits.

I am willing to photoshop any other suggestions but strangely i'm liking my black and red design.

Silver 1st, although hardly original. White 2nd in my book.

The way i see it am gonna have two sets anyways.

 

Track use with semislicks

Road use with...............emmmm......SEMISLICKS!!!!

I tell you what the A-Team remark has me sold on the black and red (see i do come out with good ideas sometimes)

I've got red on my black track-car....No pics though..

 

I like them..

 

We've also got a set of yellow and a set of metallic purple (almost black).

For the road wheels, I would go restrained....Silver, Grey or Goodwood on a Graphite car.

 

For the track, def. something that stands out - Go to your local powdercoater and see what the wildest colours they have are....

 

IHO, you don't want to be messing about with diff. coloured lips on the track wheels....

TBH i'll be doing all the painting for myself. So the different coloured lips don't bother me if the get ruined i'll just redo them.

I like the black with red lip you could also do the lion red too....
