Higgy 0 Posted July 5, 2006 Hi, As title etc suggests, does anyone know this sensor? : Engine is from 1989 2-row Mi16x4. (Its the one next to the dipstick) My other engine is from a 1990 3-row Mi16x4, and has a blank screwed in place? Twins! Cheers, Higgy. P.S. Eagle eyed spotters. inferno 1 Posted July 5, 2006 maybe its a flux capaciter?! well... do you know what one looks like?! i would suggest oil related to to closeness to dipstick, but the level should be on the rear of block and the temp as mentioned in the sump... im stumped! Too high for oil level. I am wondering if the threaded hole is used to fit a crank stop when working on the engine? Still seems a little out of possition for this though.
