still need to source a few bits, because was only given the block, and bought everything else. so need to get all the hoses for the cooling system, because my car is currently a 1.1.

But hopefully within the next month or two.

The engine looks great! Like it just came new out of a box from the Pug factory.

But your garage looks like something the local garbagetruck crashed into. LOL :)

yes i know the garage is a right mess, its partly because the engine guards the enterance so everything gets thrown in around it.

I don't know figures but seen one sucked inside a carb whilst it was on a rolling road.

It certainly killed his power! (well actually being carbs it jsut got stuck on the aux venturi)

There's allot of stuff sold that is no better than a Chocolate tea pot, And just because lot's of people use them doesn;t mean there any good, A golf we tested lost 10bhp with these fitted, Power on this thou was 210bhp without them

Yes i have them to go on and I will put them on.

Just not until the carbs are balanced up and the engine running.

Then they are going on well before i rev it.

Cheers

No need to panic and fret, I have got a set of 100mm high K&N filters.
