Xu 10 Engine Sensors

Recommended Posts

Ok, I am just about to start my wiring for the MI to gti-6 engine transplant. Want to know what sensors are what on the xu10j4rs engine.

If anyone can post a pic or a sketch then that would be useful.

also, seems like the sensors on the Mi are single point spade connectors and the ones on the gti-6 engine are double spade connectors. Is one side of the connector just an earth?

Thanks

yes, the sensors on the xu9's earth to the block, later sensors earth directly to the gearbox instead.

thought this might help

I believe the top one to be the knock sensor!

But what are the other two? And also there is a hole where I am guessing there should also be a sensor, what is the missing one?

Also are all three sensors in the water housing the same? If not what one do i link up to the 205 loom?

Thanks for any helps. Just these loose ends to be thinking about now.
