Rob_the_Sparky 9 Posted March 9, 2006 Depends on the definition of "re-built". A complete rebuild is probably in the order of £1k to £1.5k depending on the condition of the engine. However, corners can be cut and the price dramatically reduced. Second hand engines are available for ~£100 (then you need to fit them) but clearly they are a risk as it is hard to know how good they are before using them.
