Where Is The Engine Number On A Mi16 1.9 Block Please.

Just went for MOt and they told me I should have told the DVLA I'd changed the engine......but on the plus side she passed without a fault :)

I've never had an mot tester say that to me and I've mot'd loads of 205 Mis with unaltered v5s. Even since the computerised test was introduced I've taken at least two in with no problem.

It's on a little plaque rivited to the rear of the block at the timing-belt end:

Great picture, really helped. Found it now after cleaing it and then my eyes out so I could see it. Ended up with a mirror and a torch LOL
