Just ordered a quick shift kit and group A rods direct from GE. So i'll be fitting them as soon as they arrive.

I'll let you all know if i have any problems.

Thanks for all the help.

I've now got the Griffiths kit but i'm a little confused!!!!

The bracket that i've been sent seems to need to go on the end of the 'L' bracket is this correct?

Has anyone got pics of one fitted to a 205 8V to confirm this?

:D Finally got round to fittting the quick shift and the group N rods.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! what a transformation!!!

The gears are actually where they're supposed to be as opposed to being "there somewhere."

Snick, snick, snick.

totally agree.

after the rods fell off of the 1.6 (thankfully not on the 100mile drive home) i changed these for GE items. Along with the shortshift.

No more stirring porridge in the hope of getting the right gears!

Only problem with GE is there prices seem to more up and down than a tarts pair of knickers!

Miles, your lengthened system, could be good for a track car yes?
