jonD6B 0 Posted January 16, 2006 Has anybody ever actually calculated the difference in weight between the glass windows (excluding the windscreen) and 4mm polycarbonate window kits? Also how do most people weigh their cars? Would a weigh bridge be accurate?
M3Evo 0 Posted January 16, 2006 Well, according to my engineering data book: Polycarbonate: Density 1200kg/m^3 Glass (Soda): Density 2480kg/m^3 So they weigh about half as much. That said, no idea how much the glass in a 205 weighs in the first place.

Thickness difference too though, so they may weigh less/more Edited January 16, 2006 by Rippthrough
