i had a cj which i put 6x9s in the parcel shelf but with the roof down hmmmm no sound... any1 know anywhere else i can fit rear speakers, or should i just go for good front ones????

if your up to a bit of DIY you can get them to fit in the rear panels next to the rear seats.

Yeah im up for that but the rear windows wind down so dont think there will be room in there cause of the window mechanism.

What you need is some door builds in the front

 

There is no point putting in rears as you have discovered, unless you just turn off the fader to the rear when the roof is off

lol dont think the rear passengers will be comfotible, i think front door builds will be the best option.

Had the same dilemma myselfy. Ended up removing my glovebox and panel below steering wheel, replacing them with mdf and fitted my 6x9s there :)
