dodsworth_gti 11 Posted December 31, 2005 its 130bhp at wheels,pulls really strong on road,amazing out of corners,yes it was done at bogg bros!!they know what they are doing,the full kit,labour and vat cost a set price of 680 quid!!!well near enough,couple of penniesand 1 or 2 quid,but near enough.lol,stage one head includes port and polish and some tinkering with the valves,not sure exactly!!lol,but dave bogg reckons its more like a stage 2 port and polish!!will have full read out from rollers soon oh yeas,there is no rev limiter at the mo which is a bit scary lol,bottom end is standard so i really dont wonna be going over 7k Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Including a full set up and r/r session. In fact i think its pretty much a drive in drive out conversion. yeah you could get 2nd hand DCOE 40's and inlet for much less than that Sorry, just thought i'd take a moment to laugh at you worrying about money 130 at the wheels is very good for a 1.6!, who made the inlet?? If that 130hp@wheels is an accurate figure, then that is damned impressive for a 1.6 and makes that £680 seem like a bit of a bargain Do you know what revs it's making peak power at now out of interest, as I'd assume the powerband has been shifted quite a way up with that cam you're running? dodsworth_gti 11 Posted January 2, 2006 she is a bit funny to drive,power dont fully kisk in while about 5 grand now,but when it does it is unreal,she will grip untill then,then it hits the power and she starts spinning,in the wet.will get her on the rr soon,and get the printout on here for you all to see!had a rs turbo in her though,well and truely ate it Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
