unplug coil, take out spark plug, screw in comp tester then get assistant to crank car over for a few sec (keeping foot flat on accelerator)

read figure off comp tester, write it down, then move onto next one

OK, you'll have to ellaborate a little bit on that if you can, I am not much of a mechanic!

How do i:

-Unplug the coil?

-Crank the coil over?

Cheers!

to unplug the coil i would remove the multiplay connector at the top of the coil, i'm guessing you have a late 205 so the coil should be a black blob on the inlet manifold.

You can't crank the coil

Cranking the car = trying to start the car (igingtion swtich pos 3), as you have unplugged the coil the car wont fire thus it won't move.

You need to do it for about 3/4 seconds (maybe a bit less maybe a but more).

Make sure you put the spark plug back in tight (but not silly - the hanyes manual gives you an idea of what they should be) you don't want them flying about
