Fitting Studs To Hubs

Recommended Posts

lagerhead

Has anyone fitted studs to hubs to aid wheel changing? I have already knackered one hub due to the thread stripping and thought that fiting studs to the hubs and using wheel nuts would be a better way of doing it.

If anyone has fitted these, what did they use.

Cheers

Andy

I've done this to my 309 and it's one of the best things I've done, The studs and Nuts come from DT but most places stock them and I think in total came to £30.00. Also different lengths are available if you run spacers etc.

Yeah, I got some from rally design for my special (using 205 front uprights). Just give the threads a good clean and use some locking compound and you should be fine!
