205freak 7 1 Cars Posted September 1 Hi, I would like to know where can I source a 3d drawing of the XU5/7/9 engine, to be able to make a new engine block with the iron liners cast in place as sleeve. Thanks
SRDT 171 Posted September 1 That's a lot of work to make something close to the EW engine block. Your best option is probably a 3D scan, this engine was made before CAD so even PSA 3D models are probably good mock-ups but not 1:1 digital replicas. There was no need for that with the tooling already up and running.
petert 578 Posted September 3 Pay someone to digitize the one you have. That will be the most accurate and quickest way.
Mm xu9 2000 0 Posted September 5 This is a 2000cc carburetor xu9 engine, but I don't know which model it is. Please tell me the full name of the engine, thanks.
