Disassembling a dizzy

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have my dizzy that is leaking oil, and I would like to disassemble it and try to understand from where it's leaking, but I am stuck here :

There is a pin through the shaft on the head side, but I can't take it out, even with some persuasion with a pretty big hammer. Any advice?

Thank you,

Pierre

It has a labyrinth seal, so there's no serviceable parts. Send it to H&H.

That pin is tight but can be pressed out.

I can't recommend H&H as they sent a dizzy back to me that I fitted to a guys car and it did about 50 miles before it broke down on him, because they'd left a load of screws loose inside it. Never again.
