Brake pipe clips

Making steady progress on the XS standing on the shoulders of  the 205  giants on this forum :). 

 

Boot floor is a bit rusty in places but got away with a couple of small patches. 

 

Are the single  clips that hold the brake pipes to the sill still available  ? - Id like to take them off to sand down a couple of rust spots but i'll leave well alone if the clips are likely to break

They are available. Retro Race Rally for one sell them. If you can get to the back of them you can push the pin through the centre and often they will come off intact.

Thanks Tom. I used Retro Race Rally for my axle parts but unfortunately the brake pipe clips are out of stock.

I'm surprised they are still available   - do the single clips  also fit later models ?

 

I might ask if they have the rubber pipe that connects the petrol  tank to the fuel filler neck - Spooks want  £34 which seems a bit steep for a 6" long rubber pipe

I believe retro race ones were bakerBM clips but Stew has paused them for a while due to a production issue, last I spoke to him he was testing new ones.
