B6D and B6E Block any difference ?

Have a B6E engine with a cracked block. Can I rebuild it with a bare B6D block.

Any advice appreciated.

no differences that'll stop you using it, I have used a 1.9 BX D6A block to rebuild a B6D.

 

use the B6D pistons if you have them, higher compression.
