Example registration number

Hi all.

 

Does anyone have a reg number of a 1991 ish 309 GTi

 

Not sure if this is ok to ask, but im struggling to get certain bits for my 205 with 309 suspension parts. Drive shafts in particular.

Most places want a reg which I don't have.

Really should not need one, they just need to pull their fingers out and use the systems properly, going by reg is lazy.

 

I find the best approach is to use a site like www.catcar.info to find the oem part numbers, or an app like Autodoc and cross reference.

I agree, unfortunately most of the parts suppliers are lazy and can't be bothered to help.

Would the reg from my old G reg phase 2 one be any good? I'll have a look through some old photos if it would help?

Barney, thanks for the link. I was just thinking that the plate may now possibly be on something else. However, I've just put it into EPC, and it comes up as the 309 still.

Just trying to find something decent in the way of drive shafts!

No worries!  I did check it first to avoid looking too stupid
