Tacho drive with igniters

Im putting an adaptronic ECU in my car and it uses a VAG wasted spark coil with built in igniters, for tacho drive will it still use the same set up as if wiring a PSA wasted spark coil without igniters?

If you don't have access to the igniters output you need to use the tach ECU output. The stock tach won't work with that so you can use a high voltage tach adapter or mod the tach.

I previously ran a peugeot wasted spark coil with the resistor mod to drive the tacho which worked spot on. Just wondering if that same mod will work with this coil?

Never did get this working.

Switched to the tach output on the ecu and tried a pull up resistor, no joy so tried a dummy relay mod but still nothing.

Its definatley working ecu side as the relay buzzes away with RPM.
