BoxGTi 6 1 Cars Posted October 19, 2021 Well its been quite a number of years since I've been on here due to the car being off the road for the last six, but after alot of hard work and effort, I have got him back on the road for his 30th birthday! As a gift, new historical registration is on the way.
pugdamo 111 2 Cars Posted October 19, 2021 Looks very nice, love the red panel on the tailgate on a red car.
Da Bootou 1 Posted October 20, 2021 Quote 91 model? Exactly same as mine, rear panel looks good on red and Miami blue I reckon. Aussie 205's don't have rust issues, but harsh sun wrecks all the paint and interiors. Wont see many dash boards in good condition like yours Car looks awesome
BoxGTi 6 1 Cars Posted October 28, 2021 Hey buddy. Appreciate that. Yeah a '91. And yes the sun has taken its toll on the paint. Car was resprayed almost 20 years ago and came out looking like this after a cut and polish. Stoked with the result. We are lucky with the low rust that most 205s have over here that's for sure. Well the dash isn't perfect tbh. A crack on the binnacle surround and the usual broken damn clip on the coin box lol. I think there may be a Pug get together in Sydney soon if you're keen to catch up sometime for a cruise. I'm in Sutherland area so not too far from the Gong. Da Bootou 1 Posted November 1, 2021 Would love to go on 205 cruise, but mine is in resto stage, no where near completed! Tonnes to do to finish, if it turns out close to what yours is, I'll be stoked
jamorgan4 1 Posted November 12, 2021 You did a job well done on maintaining and upgrading this car.

Da Bootou 1 Posted November 16, 2021 Yes mate A bit ashamed to admit its been over 14 years since starting the resto its identical to yours, red, 91, Series 3 I've been saying, "I'll finish it this year",,,,,,,,,10 years later! In fact I cannot remember where anything goes, so putting parts back is going to be a major problem! will send a few pics to you shortly
