What are the original laden weights of the vehicle.

DVSA have asked for this as part of an IVA for an electric conversion..

What are the original laden weights of the vehicle: axle 1, axle 2, axle 3, gross, train and towable mass (in kg)? If you require higher or lower design laden weights than those allocated by the original manufacturer, please provide them: axle 1, axle 2, axle 3, gross, train and towable mass (in kg)? Evidence of the vehicle's capability at a higher weight will be required.

Specifically for a CTi would be great but I think documenting this for all models might be useful!  My Google fu has failed me in finding it online.

Anyone have these numbers available please?

Ah so:

Towable: 1265Kg

Gross: 2065Kg

Axle 1: 750Kg

Axle 2: 680Kg

RE why, because it's an electric conversion.

close, Gross vehicle weight of 1265kg, Gross train weight, i.e 1265kg car + trailer of 800 kg braked.

never had to do an iva for an engine swap/conversion before, not heard of anyone having to do this??

So this?

Towable: 800Kg

Gross: 1265Kg

Train: 2065Kg

Axle 1: 750Kg

Axle 2: 680Kg

RE IVA, yeah, I will cover it in a separate post/thread at a later date once the dust settles.

Fairly sure the IVA will be due to the car being classed, by the DVSA, as significantly modified from standard as it's being converted from petrol to electric based on the OP.

So rather than a simple engine swap it's a full reclassification in status, which also brings changes to tax brackets (possibly nil if electric?), etc.

@AlexRS2782

this is the case but I don't want to pollute the forum thread.  I will provide more details when suitable :)
