Car aerial lead

Good morning chaps and chappesses,

I have recently bought a 1988 205 Cti 1.6 at auction without viewing as it look ok. I put a cheeky low bid in and won it. Anyway, I’m going through it sorting bits out, just fixed the clock (dodgy bulb connection) and drivers door interior light switch, again a dodgy connection.

I have taken the radio out, a Clarion PU-9492A, I assume it is the original, to put a better one in and noticed the aerial wasn’t connected. The aerial lead in the car is blue and has a female end on it, but the radio has a female socket too, so how were they connected? Is a male to male end connector missing?

Also, I am looking to fit a small Nakamichi PA200 amp in and a small under seat sub, however there is no room under the seats for these. Will they go under / behind the dash? I don’t really want to put them in the boot.

Thanks.
