Water temp sensor plug wires

Hi all, 

 

a couple of years ago I brought a 205 gti turbo that would start then die.  I have now got some time to look at it and after some research on the forum I have been checking a number of issues like plug connections, broken plugs wires etc.

 

now I have started I am clearly following in the footsteps of a previous owner.  What they have done is cut a lot of the original plugs out and replaced with new/used like for like..

 

one of the plugs that has been attached to the loom but has different colour wires is attached to the water temp sensor.

 

the car loom wire colours are 1x Green And 1x Orange.

 

can anyone please tell me, or provide a pic, which wire goes to which terminal of the plug ?

It doesn’t matter which way around. Either will work. The sensor is just a resistor.
