Hi guys,

I’m stock looking for some tricks and tips as I’m out of ingenuity.

the adjustable ring on one of my Spare coilovers is completely stock. There is no corrosion to see However the alu ring is Stock to the steel damper.

I have tried everything in my book of abuse and now the alu ring looks like crap still in working order except it Does not move at all. I’m one step away from angle grinder mayhem.

tips and trips much appreciated.

thanks.

those rings are usually pretty cheap so I would source some and just cut it off.

Mac Crash

even had this problem with Bilsteins despite having the correct key, got it moving in the end with lube and chisels... as WP say's, cut it off and replace it, threads are fairly fine, not much else you can do.

More heat, chisel and a bigger hammer!

all good now.
