Hello everyone first post,

ive bought a very ruff 205 van that’s been sat for 16 years,

there’s no keys with it but does roll so least nothing underneath is that bad,(holds breath)

so I was wondering what’s the best way to see if the engine starts,

anywhere to get some info on this?

thanks I’m sure more questions will come along

If it’s been sat that long I’d replace the cambelt before you attempt to start it.

Are you asking how to start it with no keys or precautions because it sat for so long?

Its an unusual colour, difficult to see in the photo.

Couldn't agree more with Tom here, do what he said first before you start it and check the water pump while your at it to.

Wouldn't hurt to give it an oil change and purge some fresh Diesel through a new fuel filter either.
