Tachymetric relay

Does anyone know where I can locate the tachymetric relay. I have a1993 1.9 GTi. Can't seem to find it.

may not have one as such, being a late car, look next to the ecu, also check ecu model

On Motronic 205 it'll be next to the ECU (usually clipped onto the ECU casing) , and yes not the 7pin Tachy type of relay as on Jetronic 205 but usual 5pin relay (if it's still OE relay , it'll be yellow)

You should see two of them, one is the power relay for the ECU and the other is the one you're looking for.
