Oil filler cap

Is there any alternatives to the gti6 oil filler cap? Only one I can find anywhere is held by spoox on eBay at a eye watering £50 posted! I know it’s same as a Saxo vts engine etc but is there any other alternatives before I commit to there price

£8 or so at a dealer at the most, probably non stock these days so you'll wait a few days if you find a dealer willing to pull their finger out and press a few buttons.

 

can reccomend warners parts in tewkesbury if you struggle locally, ask for ed or steve.

you can do just the seal too

I’ll give a try don’t mind a small wait as not planning to use car for a month. If it was £20 I wouldn’t of minded but £50 when they were less than a tenner is crazy

I called Warner's and they didn't have one  but within mins they had searched and found the only one left in the country and gave me there number so now have it on route at a cost of £9 + £6 postage.
