Stub axle sizes base spec

So I need to do a full brake overhaul on my daily driver. I've had a few stub axles break off recently and would rather have one "in stock" just in case. Is the base model drum stub the same as the GTi drum stub? Any help would be great.

How have you been breaking stub axles?! IIRC base model and 1.6 gti stubs are the same length, around 100mm. 1.9 gti are slightly longer around 105mm and 306/xsara items longer again at around 115mm.

Ill have to find some pictures. I done three in 2 weeks!! torquing up to spec and the back snapped off all three same thing. 2 205s and one 206. Was a pita was. (im a mechanic by trade)

205 drum brake stub axles are all the same whether base models or GTi`s.
