gti6 without the airbox bits

Recommended Posts

has anyone installed a GTI6 motor with standard inlet but without the airbox etc. Just wondering what to do with the 2 black pipes on the front of the throttle body wher the yellow plug is and also the pipe for the idle control. Can they all be left open?

Should of said the oil breather is to a catch can, not sure where the smaller of the 2 pipes runs to ?

Smaller of the TB outlets is for the carbon canister on a 306 - needs to be blanked off when fitted into a 205.  The larger for the breather, but if you've got that going to a catch-can and vented to atmosphere, then you can blank the TB.

ICV could be left open and doesn't have to be plumbed into the induction pipework, but some kind of filter on the end would be advisable given air is drawn in at idle.
