Grams 160lb Springs / Eibach 106 sportlines

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

Does anyone here run the Grams 160lb springs from KAM racing? I am looking at using these with the Bilstein Group N Tarmac dampers.

I am running a 309 rear beam with 21mm torsion bars therefore I feel the Eibach 7001s may be a little too soft? Another option is the Eibach 106 Sportline springs which are supposed to be stiffer, but also lower.

Does anyone have any photos of their ride-height with either the 106 sportlines or the grams 160lb springs?

Thanks

That's the 160lb Grams springs with a GTi-6 lump fitted, which should be a touch higher than Eibach 7001's for the same weight.

If you’re happy with ride height the 7001s are a good match for your rear end, certainly not too soft.

The Grams springs really need a shortened damper to seat correctly such as the Koni ones. I think the Bilsteins are shortened so that should be ok :D
