Which color?

Hi guys

 

Which color coolant is the one to use with a GTI6 engine. Blue or the red one? 

 

Is it a matter of beliefs or ?

I was told blue by my local motor shop,

doesnt really matter as long as it is a fresh fill, you must not mix the different types/colours.

 

anything suitable for an iron block and aluminium head will do, as its rare anyone has a brass or copper core rad these days.

manufactures put whatever dye in they like, it’s got nothing to do with the coolants properties or application.
