Daxed 7 Posted March 3, 2018 Hi all, Can anybody provide some pointers on the following? All lights functions including flash work, No horn or indicators. Stalk swapped out for a replacement but no change. All fuses good, hazards working. Can this be isolated to one of the two plugs/looms into the stalk? Anywhere obvious downstream of the stalk I should be looking next? Had a play around with a mulimeter but don't really know what I'm doing and couldn't seem to find power hardly anywhere on the two plugs with ignition on. Thanks in advance. jackherer 543 Posted March 4, 2018 The indicators sounds like a faulty hazard switch, the indicators are wired through the switch so it can fail but the hazards might still work OK. Sometimes you can make the indicators work by jiggling the hazard switch while the indicators are on. Does the horn itself work when you put 12v directly onto it? Chances are these are two unrelated issues, they are on the same stalk but that is the only connection really.
welshpug 1,621 Posted March 4, 2018 the horn could be a bad earth (very common) as well as a bad relay, indicator as Kieran suggests, but also could be bad earths.
Daxed 7 Posted March 4, 2018 Thanks guys, spot on. Tired connections on the horn & temperamental hazard switch. All sorted, much obliged. Steve
