Recommended Posts

Duncan

Hi
Does anyone have  photos of the headlight support for use with interior beam corrector. I ve searched this site and various French ones with no luck. Perhaps I'm using the wrong terms?

Cheers, Duncan

That feature is only fitted to left hand drive 205s so you probably wont find much written about them in English.

There are plenty of users here who live life on the wrong side of the road abroad, hopefully one of them will understand what you're after :)

I have this system on the new car I'm assembling now.

I can try to take a pic if I remember today.

As I drive on the other side of the road (which I think it the correct side ;-) ) I've had this system on a previous car and it's hard to find a working set.

Both brackets, oil pressure lines and knob are delivered as 1 part and often 1 side is not working. In the end I removed it from my car, because the rules here mandate that if it's on the car, it needs to work properly (for MOT test).

Oh, is it oil filled? I thought it was wires in there.

Second that, regarding correct side of the road :)

PS to "wicked",

I've noticed a few replacement actuators for sale on European ebays recently for Peugeot Boxer / Citroen Relay, (Jumper) / Fiat Ducato - (Mark 1) that look very similar

Also the Williams Clio used this system I think.

Maybe they are better quality? I would advise to use them often, to prevent that they'll seize.

I don't have it on my current 205's and don't want to have it...
