Xu10 / Xu9 Crank Seals - Are They All The Same?

Hi, I need to replace a leaky crank seal (flywheel side) on a Gti6 engine, think I have a spare MI16 one.

 

Are the crank seals between the alloy block and steel block XU engines all the same, or do I need to get one specifically for the Gti6 engine?

I swap them around, never noticed any difference.

I used front XU9J4 crank and front seals in my RS as well,perfect fit and no leaks.
