Swapping The Exterior Boot Panel

Hi guys,

 

I am looking for some guidance on how to remove the rear slated boot trim to replace it with a reflective one I got with the car.

 

I've heard you have to remove the badges where the clips are and slide it down?

 

Just looking for some detailed help, as I am pretty much clueless with anything.. lol

there's also a clip on a peg inside the boot.

Okay cheers also guessing I have to remove boot lock?

Take inner cover off boot, slide plate out that holds lock,unhook small bar

Small peg is near lock

Okay thanks I'm gonna give it a go later, however realised the reflective tailgate needs to be bonded any recommendations on what to use?

Okay sounds good but would be a pain If I ever want to remove it, just suppose I've got to commit! haha
