Hi-probably TWO silly questions

1 replaced my cracked 1.9 with another complete engine-happy days!! I have now been offered a 1.6 block gratis-Question, could I transfer all my 1.9 parts including sandwich etc into a bare 1.6 block-I think bare blocks are same and would this give a 1.9 or a mutant monster 2anybody know where to get air hose from standard air box to afm? Local Peugeot no go-never seems to be any on eBay either, anyone know of anything close that looks right

Cheers

the bare blocks are identical 1.6 -1.9 bar production age differences relating to tensioners and timing belt covers.

difference from 1.6 to 1.9 is in crank stroke and rod length, with different pistons due to compression volumes.
