Seblos 0 1 Cars Posted July 19, 2015 (edited) My steering wheel is pretty worn as it seems some previous owner has been driving around with knives in his lap or something. At a spot there is a whole in the top layer and underneath it seems to be regular steering wheel material. Is it a good idea to peel off the top layer or will that cause me more problems than I already have? http://imgur.com/KebmKFB Edited July 19, 2015 by Seblos
scbond 15 1 Cars Posted July 21, 2015 You could just re-trim the whole thing in new leather?!
Seblos 0 1 Cars Posted July 21, 2015 Yes, absolutely, but money isn't in abundance at the moment so I'm looking for a temporary fix.
steve@cornwall 100 Posted July 21, 2015 Yes you can peel it off and reveal a standard wheel underneath
