2.0 Turbo Conversion Baker Bm Hose

Recommended Posts

lemmingzappa

I've seen many variations of coolant plumbing for the turbo conversion on this forum and still can't work out the best way to approach it.

I've noticed Baker sell these:

Is that a good place to start and then work around the rest of the plumbing, or would you recommend doing it a different way to begin with?

I thought about using that hose but in the end I had some stainless T pieces made up and did my own pipework.

Have a look here though http://forum.205gtidrivers.com/index.php?showtopic=145588&view=&hl=&fromsearch=1 May be of some use to you

I did buy the MI16 hose from BBM though, the one from the thermostat to the heater matrix, it's a direct fit.

I made the one I did go up a fair amount to clear the turbo to get as much clearance as I could

Excellent, thanks guys. Sounds like it's best to sit the block in the engine bay before I go buying parts. They all seem to sit quite differently, most probably due to the various mounts and forks people are using!
