Ramigojag 19 1 Cars Posted March 24, 2015 I love the classic style 3 spoke wooden steering wheels such as: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OMP-Mugello-Steering-Wheel-3-Spoke-Wood-Design-350mm-Semi-Dished/301370096087?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D29952%26meid%3D74820f53dd304b129d769e386b64f278%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D5%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D281553130703&rt=nc Been thinking about getting one for awhile. Has anyone got a picture of one fitted to a 205 or does anyone have any info regarding boss type's etc? Thanks
GLPoomobile 958 Posted March 25, 2015 Personally, I don't think the vintage style would work well in a 205. Then again, the 309 Goodwood one looked good, so not sure. On a practical level, the only car I've driven with a wooden steering wheel was my Alfa 166, and although lovely, a smooth rim can be a bit slippery (and cold in winter). Ramigojag 19 1 Cars Posted March 25, 2015 The cars only on the road in spring/summer I know it's not practical but I just think they look the part, I may change my mind when I see it in the black plastic interior of a 205, nevertheless I'm tempted.
Ramigojag 19 1 Cars Posted March 25, 2015 I should also say, it's not a permanent swap I'd still keep the original and it would go back on just for abit of fun when I fancy it
fulani 4 Posted March 31, 2015 (edited) I had one on my old MX-5, and it was really odd in a late 80s, early 90s car. Edited March 31, 2015 by fulani
