Rev Counter Not Working

Recommended Posts

jonno1272

Hi all, I haven't got a haynes manual but I am led to believe wire 112 controls the rev counter, what colour is it and where does it run from and to? Does anyone have a diagram? Checked fuse etc and wires on coil all attached

The small blue connector with 3 wires on the back of the rev counter has power to two of the wires (white and grey) but not to the green?

you wont have power to it, its a signal wire.

Surely if I have power to the other two the rev counter should work (I have even plugged in another set of clocks to eliminate the rev counter itself) or could it be the signal wire?

Green wire and grey wire on the right of coil, are they the rev counter wires? The left side has a yellow wire and another green wire
