Tuning My Pug

Hi guys,i live in weston-super-mare,recently bought a 1.6 gti on a G plate,are there any pug specialists around the southwest where i can get it set up bang on,dont want it re-mapping,just a good tune up,regards neil

Have a search on here and you will find all the issues these have, You will rarely get one running 100% as they never did when new so with 25 year old clockwork electronics it's around 99% most of the time unless you swap over to a Motronic set up or aftermarket ECU but it's far from cheap that way.

 

By all means pop it down or give us a call

There's several on here, mostly all with the same steps. There's also the Haynes manual.

Hello mate. I live in W-s-M too but just sold my 205 recently.

 

Go and see Lee at Worle Autos (behind Sainsburys). Proper nice bloke and he drives a 205 GTi as a daily and his brother has a 205 rally car. You won't find another mechanic around here that knows more about them than he does. Was always helping me out with mine and did all of the larger work for me (clutch etc).
