If I can't get hold of a reasonably priced breather hose ( Peugeot listed as NFP ) can i bung the yellow plug on the air ducting and use a mini oil breather filter directly to the filler cap ?

BakerBM reproduce the breather hoses in silicone if you can't find an original.

Second BakerBM just had a complete set of breather and water pipes very good quality made a big difference to engine idle and appearance.

Just to point out, assuming it's for a GTi as per your signature then that's the wrong hose you're looking at, since that one is for XU carb engines.

The one for XU injection models is 119260... although that too is listed as NFP, so it's perhaps academic.

As has been said, BakerBM do silicon replacements for quite reasonable money if you can't source a genuine replacement - most used ones now are often perished or split so probably a false economy trying to save a few quid that way.

Ok, I thought the diagram looked a bit off!

I suppose this hose is a common one to split due to the bendys.

I'm just wondering whether to swallow hard and buy the set as who knows how soon Peugeot will stop supplying them

Is the 10% 205gtidrivers discount for BBM still valid?

Untitled_zps809ea5e3.jpg Yep that looks a bit more familiar!

I have 3 to 5 of those NFP hoses if the Baker route is not chosen.

Do you mean part no 3,4 & 5 on the diagram or you have 3 to 5 of the hose I want ?
