Are These Correct Pistion Etc For My 1.9

I have been offered liners pistions and rings for a good price and have been told they are for r XU9-2C 1.9 GTi motors with -8.4dome ate these correct for a 1.9 engine?

If the -8.4 dome is the dish volume, then they are normally for the low compression DFZ engine, which has a larger 49cc chamber volume. It's ok to use those pistons with the smaller chamber D6B head but you'll end up with approx. 10.5:1 CR.

That's what I thought! You may need to get the dizzy regraphed however. They normally ping down low with that much CR. Makes a great engine however.

they where £275 for all 4 liners 4 pistons rings and clips not sure if its a good price yet.

10.2, 10.5 so what. If they're new genuine parts, it's a bargain. Even if new aftermarket, still good value.
