Fuel Pumps

Think I need a replacement fuel pump , just been looking on ebay, a lot described as GTI , can someone tell me the differences or will any fit?

There's 2 types. The later type is white/yellow. The older type is black.

The older type (black) fits in the phase 2 tanks, but I experienced fuel surges when wanging it around roundabouts in my phase 2.

The later (white/yellow) pump might fit in the early tank. Never fitted one but I imagine the swirl insert may need removing as the later type is a little deeper.
