Gti Speedo Cable Length?

My speedo jumps about a bit, so I bought a new cable. I got it online rather than from my Peugeot dealer - mainly because I wanted the convenience of getting it delivered.

 

Anyway, now it’s arrived, the cable looks a bit short to me – does anyone have an approx cable length for the 1.9 GTI? The cable I bought is labelled as 6123 c5, but is approx 112 cm long….is this right?

I recently bought and fitted a Peugeot OEM listed as Part No. 6123 C5 (LONG 1100) which I guess is 110cm long (1100mm).

 

So you should be fine with the one you have I guess.
