Lower Center Console Carpet...

I am going to be removing my lower center console (Phase 2 Grey carpet). I am going to re-stick the carpet which has lifted due to matrix leakage.

 

I haven't looked closely yet but should the bottom lip of the carpet tuck back up under the plastic of the console (and be stuck down), or does it just lay flat, extending down to the foot well carpet?

I took mine off this morning in an effort to clean it. Mine was glued on with a contact adhesive and sat flush with the bottom of the console. It was only the top edge that tucked under the plastic. Hope that helps!
