You Must Have Bigger Brakes!

I haven't driven my 205 (standard 1.6 GTi) properly for years (hopefully that'll change in the next couple of months) but I've always thought that its brakes are one of its most impressive dynamic features. They've got great feel, great progression, great balance, perfect weight, and they're plenty powerful enough and fade resistent for the car's performance. And with a set of M1144s they're fine on track too.

 

I agree with GLP that for road use extra power isn't relevent - fade resistance is never an issue unless you're using horrible cheap pads.
