koti 7 Posted March 29, 2014 I'm running a BE1 'box on my 205, which I've just had to take off to investigate a slipping clutch. Turns out the problem was that the thrust bearing had come off the clutch fork and so was resting in front off it meaning the clutch couldn't engage fully. The bearing doesn't seem to fit on the clutch fork particularly well so just wanted to check that it is definitely a be1 bearing: And if it is right, is the bearing meant to be quite loose on the clutch fork? Thanks in advance for any help!
welshpug 1,628 Posted March 29, 2014 Looks correct, are there any top/bottom marks? Iirc the hooked arm goes at the top.
koti 7 Posted March 30, 2014 Nope, no markings on it- to be honest I cant actually remember which way I put it in originally...guess it was the wrong way whichever I did! I might just weld a little tab on the other side so that its impossible to get it wrong when we put it back together
