did you have this lowered got anymore pics of her loving the red stripe too think im gonna go for 1.6 pepper pots as ive got a set :)

 

It was at standard height, the only suspension changes being a GTi spec beam and 1.6 GTi front hubs (for wider track)

do the 1.6 hubs fit straight to the xs struts and drive shaft and wishbones? or do you have to change all that too? how much wider is it? sounds like a worth while mod and my brother has some 1.6 hubs :)

Yes, straight fit, 10mm wider each side.

 

Youll need 1.6 discs and 1.6 or 1.9 calipers.

ahh nice, I know what might next mod is then :) is the rearbeam on a 1.6 wider too?

the braking surface is 10mm wider on a gti drum but I can't remember if that pushes the hub face out or not.
