405 Lowering Springs

Recommended Posts

Looking for a set of 30mm lowered springs for a 405. Locally nothing, only Eu located with $$hiping. I know 206 wouldn't fit, but has anyone tried 307? I know its a bodge and I should just get 405 springs.

Jim Hunter Suspension in Blacktown will reset your 405 springs. Probably around $150. Maybe a bit less if you mention you're in the trade.

206 will fit, but will be way too short and soft, try 306 springs.

James I've got a full set of (4) Koni Yellow/Eibachs -30mm assemblies with near new top mounts for a 405 if you're interested. Otherwise Peter's suggestion of resetting your original springs is likely the most cost effective solution.

I've used the 306 eibachs recently when refreshing the suspension on my mi16.

Not driven many miles as yet, but no strange noises to be heard
