Gear Shift Lever Cut... Help Needed

Hi guys,

 

so i was ready to change the knob when i had this bad surprise...

Now i need to replace the lever with a new one but i don't know how and i cant find any step by step instructions to do it.

Can anybody please help me

Its very easy, you need to remove the gaitor and console to the base where the action happen. Its quite simple once you lay your eyes on it.

 

Some one has done a nice job on that though! If you haven't sourced one yet any XU lever will fit, soo all the diesels.

i will look for a new one :) ...i've already remove the gaitor and the console i was just afraid to do some mistake because i've seen there is a rubber protection at the end of the lever that go under the metal.

 

forgive my english i don't know all the right mechanical words :D​

So job done... i've used the old shift lever covering it with a brushed aluminum tube and replacing the old gear knob witha a brand new sparco one. :D​
